Power Off the Thermostat: Turn off the power to your ecobee thermostat by switching off the circuit breaker or removing the batteries (if applicable).. 2. Locate the Reset Button: On most ecobee thermostats, the reset button is located on the side or back of the device. It may be a small, recessed button or a pinhole that requires a paperclip or similar object to press.2. Remove the thermostat. Carefully remove your thermostat from its base by putting your thumb and index finger on the backplate and applying a steady tug against the ecobee thermostat. 3. Take a picture of the wires connected to the thermostat. You may need to reference this photo later on. 4.Buy an air monitor from a different vendor, IKEA, Blueair, whatever, and see if it aligns with what the ecobee shows, then return it if you want. It's just dumb sensor. Ours is always poor. Open windows and it's clean. Close the windows and within 1hr or immediately after cooking it's poor.Follow the below steps to unregister your SmartCamera, i.e., perform a factory reset: Press and hold the Mute (No sign) and Voice Assistant (Solid grey circle) buttons on top of the SmartCamera with voice control until you hear the voice menu, then release the buttons.; Wait for the voice menu to say, "Reset to Factory settings".After two minutes, place the ecobee back on the wall and wait for it to finish powering up.
